North Carolina Soybeans:Identify Kudzu Nymphs Correctly

It is very easy to mistake early instar Kudzu bug nymphs for plant debri (soybean pods). These guys are tiny! You could easily have enough nymphs in your sample to justify an application and not know it. This pest really hasn’t been a big issue with lesst than 500 acres being treated. I’m still seeing eggs so the next few weeks may look a lot different.
